HOME DEMO! Lo-fi! An acoustic guitar-based instrumental heavily influenced by Mike Keneally, specifically his album "Wooden Smoke" (www.keneally.com). I played everything on the recording -- badly; sue me, Susan. It's just me going for the wack melodies and the trippy arrangement -- don't mind me.

Signature Review this boy can play
good guitar tone with loads of "air". I like this stuff!

I love guitar played well...
And this is guitar played very well... Very expressive, beautiful execution of some very difficult chord melody work. The dynamics of the acoustic guitar are a bit problematic... Sometimes it JUMPS OUT REALLY ABRUPTLY in the mix, and betrays the fact that you rested your palm suddenly on your bridge (big no-no with piezo pickups there...gritch gritch gritch...Dammit Jim, I'm a guitar player, not an electronics technician)... As for the dynamic problems: A little compression on the acoustic guitar track might help that... Oh yeah... there's that piezo pickup pop again... But enough of the tech speak... you get the picture. Let me give you my overall impression: This is some great guitar work... A fine player... Nothing wrong with the playing... just need to control the dynamics of the acoustic guitar a little better (great tone on the electric, BTW).. Arrangement is bang on... I really like this. Tone on the acoustic guitar solo at 5 minutes or so is really too thin... it hurts... Playing is cool... but the tone... ouch. Nice arrangement... Song is a bit too long for my tastes...
